The Supportive Housing Specialist (SHS) skillfully provides strengths based support to persons living in a permanent supportive housing (PSH) setting and assists with all aspects of compliance with contract and regulatory requirements. The Supportive Housing Specialist implements complex requirements of the grant projects and provides effective service delivery that complies with contract and regulatory requirements and meets or exceeds project’s targeted outcomes. The SHS will have a specified client/resident caseload and ensure coordination of client needs, bringing expertise in one or more of the following areas: mental health, homelessness, addictions, developmental disabilities, domestic violence, employment services, motivational interviewing and the strength-based prospective. Experience with employment services or housing preferred.
